2007 BSF Convention in Delray Beach

Here are some photos from the convention which took place June 8 through 10 at the beautiful Japanese Morikami Museum in Delray Beach Florida.

img_2581_edited.JPG David’s great tool sharpening demonstration during Vendors’ Night.He showed us the correct sharpening technique with waterstone and oilstone (Masakuni).

The convention exhibit  was basically planned  to be  a tribute to cypress trees (”Cypress Celebration”) featuring Joe Samuel’s painting of a cypress,which was also the convention logo.Unfortunately we lost Joe just months prior to the event.(Please check “A Tribute to Joe Samuels” at artofbonsai.org)
