This big Sonare juniper was imported from Urushibata nursery and arrived in my place autumn 2007.

Here the work we did to restyle the tree !

Here the tree before leaving Japan.

Just arrived in my workshop.

What we did was to moove the big branch on the left into the right side and dinamize the shape of the tree.

All the tree was wiered to restyle the vegetation.

Fabio and Rudy cleaned up the deadwood .

And the final immage of the Sonare with the new pot made by my friend John Pitt.

Before end of the Year I programmed to do this massive work on this mugo i collected 3 years ago.

The tree is very very big and with a lot of foliage . During this last two years I only worked on bend some big brances and the trunk too and prune it to make compact and prepaire it for this first styling.

Here the tree before start of the work.

We started cleaning the green from the old neadles and doing some deadwood on the cutted brances

After that we wired all the tree and also we putted some raphia to protect brances that had to be bended to make the tree even more compact and also to build the apex.

I’ve till to decide wich of the two last pics is the best front for the tree but desn’t matter , I’ve till long way to do with my mugo :)

” Big Thank’s to all the guys who helped me on this work”

Marry Christmas and happy new Year readers!!!!!!

This yew was collected in Spain 4 year ago and I bought it on 2006.

The first big work was on the deadwood together with my dear friend Enrico and the year after we also had a demo on this tree during Crespi cup .

Here the tree  on summer 2007 after I letted it grow .

Finally I decided to give another stap at the tree .

and here the final immage after wiering . I’m realy happy about the development of this tree but there is till long way to do for this tree.

Here pics that show the final result of the first stiling of this strange scots I decide to call ” the unicorn” .

close up.

Was realy exhiting to work on this kind of material because the big quantity of the green permetted to obtain a quite final and refinish result at the end of this first stap.

I’m realy happy!!!!

Time to create!

This strange scots pine was collected 3 years ago in France. This month i finally decide to start the work to put this tree in the bonsai way…… :)

Here some pics after collecting .

This tree has a fantastic moovement and twist but is difficult to think how to put it on a pot in the future.

My goal will be to plant it in a strange pot made expetially for this tree , something realy strange I’ve in mind.

In my workshop we choosed the new front and also the new planting angle.

We also made a new jin where a long branch was cutted during the collecting . This operation help us the put more in evidence the big twist in the middle of the trunk.

At the end we bend down couple of big brances for make the tree more compact and for the moment the work is done.

Next stap will be  wiering  all the green to make all the pads in shape .
