After I wrote my last post I went to the 30th Anniversary Ceremony/Banquet/Auction that the club was putting on. I still do not know why I went.
There I had an opportunity to have my picture taken with Mr. Nakamura, and I passed. I may end up picking myself for missing such an opportunity, but for know I will stand with my decision.
I will continue to do everything I can for the KoB and AoB, but I fear that my heart will not be in it (for now).
This weekend is the 30th Annual Midwest Bonsai Societies Bonsai Exhibition. With vistiting master Susumu Nakamura.
I drove to Chicago for the event, andfound myself not really enjoying myself.
The trees were great as always. I tried to watch a demo by Mr. Nakamira, but I couldn’t sit there through the whole thing. Istartrd to question my reasoning for coming.
Has my love for bonsai left me? Or am I just in a self loathing state of mind?
Only time will tell.
