Pappy
Pappy is a Senegal Parrot. I received him from my aunt on 12-15-04, he is 4 years old, who rescued him from the Fine Feathered Friends Bird Sanctuary. He is bald on the back of his head and around his neck. The Vet believes that this was caused by an aggressive bird being in the same cage with him. His feather follicles are damaged and no feathers will ever grow. When we brought him home he was a biter. He would bite very hard. Also he will not let us touch him, other than his feet. We believe this is do to not being handled very much. Now he bites rarely. He seems a lot happier.
