Sammy

Sammy was another pet store purchase in ‘95. The reason we bought her was she was very different looking than our current ferret Fang. She was a very gentile and layed back ferret. Fang welcomed her into the house with a drag across the living room by the scruff of her neck. Fang and Sammy were inseparable. They were always getting into mischief together.

Then one day we noticed that she was starting to lose some hair from her backside. We took her to the vet and the vet told us that she had adrenal gland disease, very common for ferrets. The vet said that she probably wouldn’t last long. We she showed him, she hung on to life for 3 more years. Sammy was eventually in allot of pain and suffering. We deiced that it would be best for her to put here down in autumn of ‘04. We still love you Sammy and will never forget you.
