“Vision of My Soul”

This first luxury limited edition of 1500 copies are out of print now.

When it was published in July 2005, the result was far above my expectation. I have been receiving many encouraging remarks from the readers including requests from bonsai teachers asking for permission to use part of this book for their teaching programs. It has been recommended as one of the best reference sources of bonsai art especially on the aesthetic and artistic aspects.

Due to the high demand of enquiries, the 2nd edition  has been  reprinted in normal edition (Paper-back cover) with more effortable price. Now available and can be ordered through Stone Lantern (www.stonelantern.com).

My second book “Mission of Transformation” will be published by end 2008 or early 2009.

This will be the only bonsai book available focussing on bonsai design principals, plant physiology and tree morphology with hundreds of photos illustrating the explaination and examples including gallery and critique.

    It is so hard to get good books on Bonsai in our country. In spite of the limitations, I keep collecting books whenever I can. It’s a constant and only source of inspiration to me to learn and make improvements on my work, in the given circumstances where I live.

    Bonsai has become my passion and devotion (within the limited time that I can allocate from my otherwise busy occupation) and I have become deeply engrossed during the past few years. The pleasure I get is hard to explain.

    Last week one of my business friends was in Jakarta and I had asked him to buy ‘Vision of my Soul’ which I was eagerly looking forward to have on his return ……….. but I was heartbroken when he told me on arrival hat the book was not available in the bookstores he had been to.

    Can you please advise me from where (bookshop name or location) the book can be bought, so that I may ask another friend (who lives in Jakarta) to obtain it for me? Please help……….
